Would you like to see the bulb fields, the windmills or a historic town without train timetables or hunting for parking? With a private taxi from Express Taxi you visit the Netherlands' sights at your own pace. You book in advance, see the fixed fare before you confirm, and travel door to door, from your hotel or home.
How much is a taxi to a sight?
The fare depends on your departure address, the destination and the vehicle. Examples of a one-way ride from The Hague:
- To Keukenhof: from €90
- To the Zaanse Schans: from €139
- To Kinderdijk: from €111
- To Delft: from €70
These are example fares for a sedan, during the day, from the centre of The Hague, calculated with our current rates. The booking form shows the exact fare for your address, date and vehicle. You book the return as a separate ride too, with the time you want to be collected again.
A tour with several stops
Would you like to visit several places in one day, for example Keukenhof and then the coast, or Delft and Kinderdijk? Then we agree the route, the stops and the waiting time with you in advance. Send your wishes via WhatsApp, with the date, the number of people and the places you want to see, and you receive a proposal at a fixed price.
Practical planning
- Check the opening hours and tickets of the sight in advance; you arrange those yourself.
- Some places, such as Keukenhof, are only open in a certain season and are busy in spring. Leave in good time.
- Agree a clear pickup point for the return; at busy sights taxis cannot stop everywhere.
For families and groups
With a family or a group, choose a minibus or, for groups of up to 16 travellers, a Mini-Coach. You pay per vehicle, not per person. A booster seat can be chosen for every ride, and for longer rides a baby and child seat as well.
Changing and cancelling
In My Booking you can change your ride up to 2 hours before pickup. Cancelling is free until 3 hours before the pickup time; after that, 30% of the ride concerned is charged.
