Privacy statement

1. Who we are

Express Taxi Service, Nieuwstraat 65, 2266 AB Leidschendam, The Netherlands. KvK 56041551. We are responsible for how your data is handled.

2. What data we collect

• Your booking details: name, phone number, e-mail address, pickup and destination addresses, flight number, passenger and luggage numbers, comments.
• Payment: online payments go through Stripe. We do not store your card details.
• WhatsApp messages about your booking.
• New customers are saved to our Google Contacts, so the office can find them.

3. Why we use it

• To carry out your ride and inform you about it (performance of the agreement).
• To take payment and keep the records the law requires (legal obligation).
• To handle complaints, refunds and disputes (our legitimate interest).

4. Who receives your data

No one else receives your data. We do not sell your data.

• Drivers: the details they need for your ride.
• Stripe: online payments.
• Google: e-mail and Google Contacts.
• Meta (WhatsApp): WhatsApp messages.

5. How long we keep it

• After your pickup time, we delete your personal details: name, phone number, e-mail address and the addresses that identify you.
• We keep the trip record without personal details: date, route, vehicle, price and status.
• We keep payment and invoice records for as long as the law requires.

6. Security

We protect your data with suitable measures, such as access control to our systems and encrypted connections.

7. Where the data is stored

Our booking database and server are in the European Union.

8. No tracking

We do not use Google Analytics or other tracking on the website.

9. Your rights

• Access: you can ask which data we hold about you.
• Correction: you can ask us to correct data.
• Erasure: you can ask us to delete data, unless the law requires us to keep it.
• Restriction and objection: in certain cases you can ask us to restrict the use of your data, or object to it.

10. Complaints

If you disagree with how we use your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
