Taxi to Woudrichem: a fortress town with limited stopping space
Woudrichem's historic fortified centre is compact. The right taxi destination may be a restaurant within the old walls, a meeting near the harbour or an address outside the fortress. Do not assume every narrow street offers a suitable place for passenger pickup.

The municipality of Altena explains that parking in the municipality is generally free where permitted, but that does not mean vehicles may stop anywhere. In the Woudrichem fortress area, marked spaces and local restrictions matter. If the final address is in a pedestrian or restricted street, agree a nearby lawful stopping point.
Harbour visitors need more than the town name
A guest going to a boat departure or riverside event should provide the operator's actual boarding instructions. The waterfront and the historic centre are close, but a taxi cannot replace the walking part of a visit. If the schedule includes a ferry, allow for the operator's timetable.
Arrange a separate return if needed
For a restaurant visit, give the expected finish time and an identifiable street or parking area for collection. A driver is not automatically held on standby during dinner. Enter the full destination and any onward stop in the booking form.
