Taxi to Veluwezoom National Park: start at the right trailhead
Veluwezoom is a large natural area rather than one destination address. The visitor centre in Rheden is a practical starting point for some walks, while a route towards Posbank or a wildlife observation area may have different access rules. Confirm the planned walk before arranging a taxi.
Book your ride
Book your taxiThe Rheden visitor centre is a defined destination
Natuurmonumenten lists Bezoekerscentrum Veluwezoom at Heuvenseweg 5a, Rheden, with nearby parking at Heuvenseweg 5. Visitors can use the centre as a meeting point and then continue on signed paths. It is not an instruction for a taxi to drive onto the heathland.
Posbank and wildlife areas have restrictions
Some routes are affected by traffic or conservation measures. Natuurmonumenten notes access changes around observation areas; the driver should follow current signs rather than an outdated navigation shortcut. If the group wants a different trailhead, provide its exact approved parking location.
Arrange the end of the walk in advance
A walk may finish away from its starting point. Give the return driver a named parking area and a realistic time, with a contingency for poor weather. The booking form covers the stated road journey; a driver remaining on standby throughout a hike is not included unless agreed.
