Taxi to Middelburg: station, old town or business address?
Middelburg has a compact historic centre and a station on the edge of its main shopping area. A transfer from another province needs the correct final address: a meeting near the Markt, an appointment at a government office and a station pickup do not use identical access routes.
Book your ride
Book your taxiThe station has defined collection areas
The municipality identifies a kiss-and-ride area at the front of Middelburg station on Kanaalweg and short-stay parking at the Segeerssingel side. Specify which side the traveller is using. 'At the station' is not enough when someone is arriving with luggage.
Historic streets need a practical stop
The centre has parking and access restrictions, and a hotel entrance may be on a narrow street. For a meeting near the Markt or Abbey, agree the nearest permitted drop-off and allow for a short walk. Avoid promising that a vehicle can reach every door in the old town.
Plan intercity travel and the return
Provide the exact origin, destination and vehicle needs in the booking form. A second stop in Zeeland or a return from a different Middelburg address should be specified before confirmation. The applicable fare is calculated for that itinerary; a generic city-wide price would not describe every journey.
