Taxi to Efteling from Rotterdam, Schiphol and Amsterdam
Efteling in Kaatsheuvel is one of the largest theme parks in Europe, but it has no train station of its own. By public transport you change to a bus in Tilburg or 's-Hertogenbosch, often with children and suitcases. From Rotterdam Central Station
Arriving in Rotterdam by Eurostar, ICE or Intercity? Book your taxi from Rotterdam Centraal and continue to Efteling without changing to a regional train and a bus. Enter Rotterdam Centraal as the pickup address and your arrival time; your confirmation tells you where you meet the driver. If your train is delayed, send us a message on WhatsApp.
Straight from the airport
Many families fly into Schiphol or Rotterdam The Hague Airport and go to Efteling the same day. Enter your flight number and landing date; your driver follows your flight. At Schiphol the driver waits outside Departure Hall 2. Your suitcases travel with you to the hotel, so you do not need to store them anywhere.
Staying at an Efteling hotel
Efteling has its own places to stay, such as the Efteling Hotel, Efteling Bosrijk and Efteling Loonsche Land. Enter the exact address of your hotel or holiday home, not just "Efteling". Then the driver takes you to the right reception, and we agree in advance where you are picked up after your stay.
A day trip: there and back
Visiting for one day? Book the ride back at the same time, with the time you want to leave the park. Check the opening hours for your day on the Efteling website first, as they change through the year. If the driver waits for you, Wait & Return can cost less than two separate rides; the booking form shows it when it applies to your trip.

Travelling with children
Children count as passengers, so enter everyone in the booking form. You can choose a child seat or booster seat as an extra when you book. Strollers and large suitcases fit best in an Estate or minibus; enter them with your luggage.
Questions about a taxi to Efteling
Is the price per person?
No. The price is per ride for your whole party, as long as everyone fits in the vehicle you choose.
How long is the drive?
From Rotterdam Central Station the drive usually takes about an hour, and from Schiphol about an hour and a half, depending on traffic. Plan some extra time on busy holiday days.
How do I pay?
You choose when you book: pay online, or pay the driver in the taxi.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel free of charge up to 3 hours before pickup; after that, 30% of the ride concerned applies. You change your booking through your My Booking link.
Can I get a quote for a group or a longer trip?
Yes. For trips longer than 70 km you can request a personal quote, with at least 10% off the normal fare. That discount is not in the booking form's price.
