Taxi to De Biesbosch: which entrance are you using?
De Biesbosch is a broad wetland landscape spread across several access points. There is no single road entrance that suits every nature walk, museum visit or boat excursion. For a private taxi from The Hague or another city, the most important decision is the activity's actual starting location.
Book your ride
Book your taxiDordrecht and Werkendam have different visitor centres
The national park identifies Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht at Baanhoekweg 53 and Biesbosch MuseumEiland at Hilweg 2 in Werkendam. Both offer visitor information, but they serve different areas and excursions. A booking to the wrong centre could leave your group far from its reserved boat departure. Use the address from your excursion confirmation rather than a generic map pin for the park.
Drimmelen is a waterside starting point
On the Brabant side, Drimmelen's marina is an important gateway. The national park notes that reaching the Biesbosch from Drimmelen requires a boat crossing or organised trip. A road taxi cannot take passengers directly to islands reached only by water. If you have a guided outing, ask the operator for the quay and departure time and plan to arrive before boarding.
Book the road section precisely
Specify the visitor centre or quay in the booking form, together with passengers and luggage. Boat tickets and activities are separate. For a return after a nature excursion, confirm the quay and pickup time; the driver does not automatically wait during the boat trip.
